About the Maker
Made quietly,
by a single pair of hands.
From a small studio between Sweden and Japan — silver, shaped slowly, with respect for the nature that inspires it.
I was never very interested in elaborate jewelry made with precious metals and gemstones. Rather, I preferred simple and unique pieces made with wooden beads or irregular natural stones.
Discovering silver clay was what first inspired me to start making jewelry. What I love about silver clay is that its clay-like nature allows handmade textures and marks to remain visible in the finished piece, making it easy to create organic forms and designs.
I am also attracted to the fact that, after firing, it becomes 99.9% pure silver — a material that can be passed down through generations.
“As I continue exploring the possibilities of this relatively new material, I hope to shape each piece carefully — with respect for the nature that inspires my work.”
